Friendship Public Charter School: Woodridge Elementary Visit (Closed Event)

As part of our Soft Diplomacy – School Visit initiative, the Embassy will host the Friendship Public Charter School: Woodridge Elementary, a highly selective Quaker school located in Bethesda, Maryland and Washington, D.C., offering pre-kindergarten through secondary school classes.
This educational initiative is designed to offer schools at all grade levels and universities an opportunity to re-discover Haiti and learn more about its rich history and culture through a presentation and guided tour of the renovated historic Chancery. The visits take different forms, tailored to the dynamic, grade level and curriculum of the group. They may range from a formal presentation by a key member of the Washington community to an informal treasure hunt!
