The Executive power is held by the President, who is the head of the State. The President is elected for a 5-year term. A candidate can be elected at most twice to serve as President, but he/she cannot serve consecutive terms.
The President nominates a Prime Minister, who, along with the newly formed Cabinet, must be ratified by Parliament.
