Where Do We Go from Here?
The following event, a panel discussion entitled Where Do We Go from Here, was held on Friday, May 19th at the Busboys and Poets on 14th and V. The panel featured three illustrious Haitian Americans at the forefront of socio-political affairs in the United States: former U.S. Ambassador to South Africa and former Executive Director of the Democratic National Committee, Patrick Gaspard; District of Columbia Attorney General Karl Racine; and former Massachusetts State Representative, Marie St. Fleur. The animated and edifying conversation that unfolded was moderated by Yamiche Alcindor of the New York Times.
