NOTE TO THE COMMUNITY
The Embassy of Haiti to the United States of America presents its compliments to the community and to the public in general and has the honor to inform that, starting from the publication of this Note, the Consular Section will not receive urgent applications for passport anymore, until further notice.
This decision is due to a technical problem encountered at the Passport Unit, which has caused considerable delays in the delivery of passports. The Embassy apologizes to all the victims of this setback and assures that all efforts are made in view of solving this situation the soonest possible.
The Embassy of Haiti to the United States of America avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the community and to the public in general the assurance of its highest consideration.

NOTE A LA COMMUNAUTÉ
L’Ambassade d’Haïti aux Etats-Unis d’Amérique présente ses compliments à la communauté et au grand public et a l’honneur de l’informer qu’à partir de la publication de la présente, la Section Consulaire ne reçoit plus de demande de passeport en urgence jusqu’à nouvel ordre.
Cette décision a été prise à cause d’un problème technique rencontré au niveau de l’Unité de Passeport. Ce problème a occasionné un retard considérable dans la livraison des passeports. L’Ambassade présente ses excuses aux citoyens que cette panne affecte et les informe qu’elle travaille sans relâche afin que ce contretemps soit résolu dans le plus proche avenir.
L’Ambassade d’Haïti aux Etats-Unis d’Amérique saisit l’occasion pour renouveler à la communauté et au grand public l’assurance de sa parfaite collaboration.
