The Embassy of the Republic of Haiti in Washington, D.C. with deep sorrow, announces the passing of Former Haitian President, Professor Leslie François St-Rock Manigat, on June 27, 2014, in Port-au- Prince.
The Embassy will have an official condolence book available for those in the Greater Washington D.C. area who may wish to pay words of respect from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, July 7, until Friday, July 11 at its Chancery located at 2311 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Washington D.C.
Professor Manigat, born in 1930, served as Haiti’s 43rd President.
